This Lounge Chair simply shows what’s what. Thin wooden strips hold a filigree steel wire and form the basis for the seat and arm rest. Brutissimo is a little smaller, a bit wider than his brother Bruto. But no less sexy. A guy for a quiet evening.
The archetype of a lounge chair
Brutissimo follows the honest character of his big brother, Bruto, and simply shows what's what. Moulded wooden shells for sitting and leaning, as well as sturdy legs made of steel wire, which are connected and stabilized by thin ash rails. The sloping, slightly curved seat and the strongly inclined back rest provide the necessary seating comfort. With or without arm rests. A little smaller, a bit wider than his brother. But no less sexy.

In his own completely lucid style
Brutissimo shows himself and his construction unashamedly. Curved lines meet angular strips. The technical appearance of steel meets the warm feel of wood. Brutissimo‘s individual components are produced by different companies with equally different specialist knowledge. The moulded wooden shells and steel wire frame are produced industrially. Our carpenter surpasses any machine when treating the ash rails. All manufacturing operations are located in Bavaria, most of them in the direct vicinity of our company.
Pretty peculiar
Brutissimo’s inventor Konrad Lohöfener was himself once part of the creative department at Nils Holger Moormann. What suits Moormann and what possibilities do our regional producers have? He considered these aspects from the very outset of the development process. The fact that it actually worked, and that we decided to take Brutissimo of all the numerous design entries that we have received in the course of one year, was due to the fact that he was a point for controversial discussion: Is Brutissimo really beautiful? Or is he much more a real guy?
