In October 2011 the tranquil Hohenaschau, headquarters of the Nils Holger Moormann GmbH, became the scene of a unique racing highlight: The hell of Aschau. Not with the company bike, not with a forklift truck, but on three motorized bookinists, the task was to survive a course around the clock tower in front of the company premises. A total of 20 racing teams, cheered on by 200 invited guests from the design and furniture industry, took up the challenge and outdid each other with record-breaking lap times, daring stunts and impressive posture scores

The four winning teams of the different categories:
Fastest team: Stuttgart Hellhounds (Markus Jehs & Jürgen Laub)
Best Stunt: The Molitormähns (Frank Leukers & Jürgen Kupfer)
Most elegant performance: Vatican Racing – The Hurried Chair (Klaus Wolter & Mark Bruckmann)
Most contact with the straw bales: Ratz-Fatz Team (Alex Seifried & Stephan Scholl)
